thats one of the most stupidest things ive read on this forum.
I dont mind reading a judgement about a produkt even if it verges on advertisement....

But ur message wasnt really giving any information at all...

I believe Sean is refering to http://lordsfam.net/downloads/production/ which is Shad Lords contribution.

BTW
Schotty, your contribution to this thread was also quit useless. If you going to insult someone, the least you can do is learn the English language. Your constant bashing of users on this forum, usually results from an inferiority complex. So next time you wish to post a message to the forum, crack open a dictionary first.

Hi all,

Just a point. Shad really improved an already existing code made by us, Juan J. Prieto and Jaime Nebrera. We just dont have time to devote to this addon and are really glad Shad picked the glove and continued developing, testing, and improving it. Actually, we would love to have such time to spend in one of our "childs". Thanks Shad !!!

  Regards.

I see from the self-appointed sensors that spontaneous joy and thanksgiving to the maintainers of add-ons is hereby forbidden.

And I was led to believe that persons perusing these fora would likewise support the splendid efforts of said maintainers.

I was sadly mistaken.

My most sincere apologies are hereby extended to those who were offended by my display of delight. I promise I will never show happiness again in deference to their obviously more important opinions.

Regards,

Sean

Hi Sean,

No, its not. Actually we could not express our gratitude to Shad. He has improved, tested and maintained what once was "our child" when we couldnt continue to do so, now is both :) Actually this is the beauty of GPL code. And I think your post was not offtopic for this list. Such public appraisal and applause is like an adrenalin shoot for the developers that give their time for such a job.

Keep those gratitude comments comming. But next time say "Thanks Shad, Juan Jesus and Jaime for ...." :)))))))

  Regards

wow Bill thx for reminding me that I can use a dictionary. You know I do get a few days where I just forget that I live in Germany and speak german.
What a forgetfull person I am.. Well listen up if my english is that bad I dont mind communicating with you in german.

What sean wrote is hardly an article for general discussion board for sme server.
After reading his thread one doesnt know what the hell hes talking about. Look at other threads where other peolpe have recommended products.

Well I didnot realise I keep bashing users..... When I think about it though I guess I have told a load of newbies to read the manual and search the forums...

So Ill just go and learn some more words in english... You may carry on playing World Internet Police Department....

Just for the record...

>Well I didnot realise I keep bashing users..... When I think about it though I
>guess I have told a load of newbies to read the manual and search the forums...

Well, I suppose that giving advice does not necessarily mean one takes it from oneself...

I did not post this in the "Experienced User Forum" as it was merely an expression of delight. Definitely _not_ something that required the likes of the "Experienced" fora browsers to respond to. In fact I don't think I asked for help in the original posting, did I?

If what I posted was not an article for general discussion, why did you pitch in? You have every right _not_ to comment. "General", to quote the Australian  Pocket Oxford Dictionary (see, I have one, too), "ge'neral 1. a. including or affecting or applicable to all or most parts or cases or things, not partial or particular..."

It may also pay to ignore the dictionary and head straight down to the bottom of the page here where it says, "General discussion
Installation problems, comments, feedback, and basic questions about the e-smith server and gateway. " Admittedly my post was not about the e-smith server itself, but about an add-on package for said same, so you may rightly flame me for that.

Anyway, enough bickering and carrying on like a bunch of old ladies!! (Apologies proferred to any old ladies present, but you get the gist.)

[Side thought] If I _didn't_ generate some interest in the product (ever heard of "advertising by stealth"?) then I didn't do it right ;-) Just think, Miceni may never have discovered Juan, Jaime and Shad's wonderful work.

Have a good one, I enjoyed the debate!

Regards,

Sean

Well youve said enough now anyway..
I am not bickering that you are advertising for an Add-ON for SME Server.

What would expect though, that if yxou use the Forums for advertising then you would at least give a bit more info that what you did ie. link, what is the program.
One could even mistake your first post as a call for help because "you cant work out the lm_sensors thingy".

Your post does belong in gerneral but like ive already said a bit more info wouldnt of killed anyone.......

Pleased you had a nice weekend...... I had one too....but I wasnt muddling round with "lm_sensors thingys" :-)

cheers

Schotty
