Title: noaccess
Post by: Jens K. Hansen on January 13, 2003, 10:13:04 PM
I have lost my access to my e-smith 5.5. I have no acces to IMAP I cannot  login to the console vis SSH. My problem is that i haven't  done anything except installing the services and systemmonitor rpms.

I can access the console but only from the console. If I try from a network client over SSH (Putty) I get a no access reply.  I have the same problem when  I try to access the e-mail server via IMAP. The reply is "the connection was refused". My mail client is Netscape 7.1. The webbased mail functions ok.

The server is installed as a mail and webserver only.

My knowledge of Linux is somewhat limited So I would appreciate any help.

In Dk-hostmaster.dk I see you own lillehammervej.dk, but if I try to nslookup I get no IP. Could be the problem is the pointing to your box.

mine's doing the same thing. I havent changed anything apart from update from 5.5-5.6. now putty says connection refused even though SSH access is enabled on the server-manager.

did you find out what caused your problem? it may help me.
