Title: Samsung Contact (Exchange Equiv) on e-Smith
Post by: Adam on January 17, 2003, 04:39:19 AM
Gday all,

been checking out the various M$ Exchange alternatives around and came across this one. Looks good, but isn't cheap.

Does anyone know if it'll work on e-smith ? Says it works on Red Hat.

Anyone got any advice about it ?

Would seriously look at it if it will work with e-smith.

cheers,

Adam

Forget it everyone. Did a search and didn't change the days to "All Dates". Found a fair bit of what I need.

cheers,

Adam

I've try Samsung Contact 8.0 on Red Hat 7.3
Installation very easy
Integration in outllok the best I've see.
Dark Side
Samsung Contact is not free !
for more of 25 contact Samsung Contact is more expensive in place of
M$ Small Business Server (OEM)

I've try to try it on SME 5.6 but some dependence are not present.

Has anyone got this running on SME ?

didn't really want to go out and set up another box when I was hoping Samsung would work on  SME.

Any advice, HOW-TOs etc would be welcomed.

cheers,

Adam
