Has anyone managed to get a copy of SME server 5.6 downloaded from any of the ftp sites?
I cannot get a connection of more than 5KB/S at which it will take pretty much a whole day to try and download it!! and this is from my work!
Other downloads are happening at around 200KB/S
Surely there aren't that many people downloading this software??
regards
Paul

Have you tryed rsync?
you will probably reduce your download time....
answering your questions....
yes, a got a full iso image and burned it without any trouble
I'ts quite probable that many people is downloading the file simultaneously, specially the days just after release.

I got mine via rsync; if you have one of the 5.6 betas I'd recommend it. If the latest ISO you have is 5.5 or earlier, though, FTP is the only way to go.

I downloaded using getright's segmented downloading and multiple mirrors and got speeds up to 100k that way but only 10k the normal way.
