Title: refuse mail from a few spammers
Post by: Charlie on January 18, 2003, 12:48:33 AM
I'm running SME5.5 and want to refuse mail from a handfull of domains. I'd like to be able to use wildcards in the decision method so I can catch the spammers that use slightly different names like superdeal.com and mailsuperdeal.net . I'd like to be able to say to refuse any mail from *.*supermail.*. Is there an easy way?

I tried creating a file in /var/qmail/control and it worked but I couldn't use any wildcards.

Try using the ip address instead of domain name with wildcards. Usually no matter how the spammers change the domain name, they are still coming from the same ip address.
