But when they connect ok and have a Local IP, see all the computers in the windows net, ping at all, I can't access to the windows computers, the message shows that cant init in the server. ¿Anybody can help me? What services is the Win2k server providing to the LAN?  What is the SME providing?

The Win2K have shared folders, and the computers access at this folders, and the SME is the gateway to outside to Internet and permit access of PPTP.

Is that all you have on the Win2k "server", shared folders? Does the SME do DHCP and user authentication and all that? Start with the basics... Can you ping the server? Can you access \? Can you access \?

Yes, I see all the computers in the local net, ping at the name the computer, ping at all ip directions, but when I try to access to the shared folder, appears message that tell me "Don't look for a domain server to validate your account", (sorry for my english).

If I begin with a LAN conection, after, I take off the conection, then I call phone number on internet, make vpn conection, and then I can access at all.
But if I init the system without local conection, like when i am in my house, and conect internet and vpn, i can't access.

We use an NT4 PDC, so I'm not sure how SME handles it. Are you logging on to the SME as a domain controller? If so, do you have "Logon to network" checked in the VPN connection? It sounds like a network validation issue of some sort.

Sounds like your w2k server doesn't recognise the account (user). Which server is authenticating? (which one do you logon to normally?)

Yes, the problem has been solutioned. If I boot my Win2k client without conection, and i'm boot with my user name and my domain, after when i conect the computer don't do logon with domain server and don't access anything (because it just do it in local mode) .
But if I boot the Win2k client in Local machine, out of the domain, when i connect, the Win2k client makes logon with the domain server, because until do it, and access at all.

Thanks for all. Excuse my english please.
