I did a search for software raid 5 and i didnt really come up with anything can someone please tell me if sme supports software raid 5?

Thx.. has anyone used software raid 5 in thier sme box?? reason i ask is theres a guy who wanted to know before he jumped in and found sme didnt support it..

Hi Phillip,

I'd strongly advise against software RAID 5. SW RAID 1 (Mirroring) might be fine but RAID 5 is computationally intensive. You're better off with proper RAID-5 hardware.
