Title: No floppy, how can I do a re-installation disk?

Subject says it really. I would like to be able to reproduce my setup,
but the target machine doesn't have a floppy interface. Can I use a file
(or CD) to do this. Otherwise, which bits do I need to archive manually
in order to restore over a vanilla install in order to regain the install setup?
