Title: Perl stopped working HELP
Post by: geoff on May 28, 2000, 02:00:22 PM
Hello,

I have a big problem, I was playing around with NTP servers and testing out different IP addresses in the NTP field (dont ask why). After about the 4th IP I entered I got a 404 error. Now all the cgi and perl on my site doesnt work. I just get 404 errors. I really need to get this fixed ASAP, I am running a week long survey and it relies on perl. Can someone help me out, give me some possible solutions. The worst part is I cannot even get into e-smith-manager to try and reverse my foolish tinkering. PLease I am desperate can someone help.

-thanks in advance

Just to add to this, It seems like access is just denied to anything that uses perl. Everything else works fine. I am positive that I didnt cut off access to anything.

Have you tried:

tail -f /var/log/httpd/error_log

too see what is happening? I think that's the correct path and filename.
