Howdy all,
Well I was bumming around and found
"
Putty's SFTP can be found here, it's freeware:
http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/psftp.exe
"
From another poster and thought I'd try it out, now I have ftp diables entirly in the server manager, but I still could logon using sftp, is this right, shouldnt it be turned off if ftp is diabled entirely? It probably is just fine, I'm just a worry wart :-)
Thanks

No. sftp provides something which looks and works like ftp, but is really an ssh connection. Disable ssh and you won't be able to gain access.
See
http://www.google.com/search?q=sftp
for more information about sftp.
