Title: SME 5.5 Securemail

I have installed securemail but when i go to my secure e-mail settings to enable it i get a white screen when i click save. soo.. i do a refresh and it says feature unavail. why is this .

Works fine for myself, and others. Have you tried removing and reinstalling the RPMs, possibly even downloading them again?

Did you install the ones for 5.5 (and not the ones for 5.6)?

Because some of the features are independant they can be 'unavailable' ie. not installed. That is you can install the pop component without the smtp component without the imap component etc.

The reason the packages you've installed are listed as 'unavailable' is because you haven't run the post install event that is mentioned on http://www.pagefault.org/code/e-smith.shtml#securemail, ie. This event adds the services you've installed to the e-smith config database, with default settings.

Install:
rpm -ihv
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event post-upgrade
Enable the service via the Secure e-mail settings server manager panel.
