I'd just like to say thanks to all who make this forum possible.
I was bitten this morning by a power outage resulting in the server refusing to boot with a damaged file system.
Without being able to search this forum I would have been truly fscked :-)

Don't panic! It's easy once you know the magic command ;-)
fsck /
Perhaps SME could include more prompts at the point when the syste switches to a maintenance prompt.
is available from this prompt, but Nick's command
didn't jump out at me.
