Title: Webshare Help
Post by: jpeters on February 15, 2003, 11:27:05 PM
Great OS product and kudos for all who have posted and helped me indirectly in the past.

My current problem is with webshare. I can view the upload screen but cannot actually move any files to it or even view them. ( I have checked off the upload button.)

Using SSH putty, I see the created subfolders created from the server manager panel but nothing gets moved to the folders etc.

Anyone have any suggestions? I could not find the answer searching these forums.

Thanks in advance.

Update.....

If I move files to the webshare subfolder created by the server manager panel using MC or console, I can see the new files so it appears the problem I am having is uploading to the webshare folder via https.

Still stuck on this one.

Found the problem. Looks like creating a folder called 'temp' didn't want to work but 'temp2" for example does. Also the regular user accts on e-smith were not accepted but bogus users and passwords worked ok.
