can i use sql server with SME Server

SQL Server is based on the Microsoft Windows OS. SME Server is based on the Linux Redhat OS. Therefore, SQL Server can't be installed on SME Server.

Maybe the SME Server through PHP can access a SQL Server on a Windows machine, but I don't know how...

PHP can access MS-SQL, however, Joel, you need to be more descriptive in your request so I/we can better assist you.

The term "Use" is quite ambigious.
