One day I stumbled across the registry entries for the MS addons, and spent a bit of time figuring out how they work. This is one thing that I whipped up specifically for use here. It allows you to select a text URL, and open it in a new window by right-clicking and selecting "Open URL". Saves a lot of cut and pasting...
To install it, just unzip the two files, right-click the .inf, and choose "Install". If you decide you don't like it, you can remove it in the Add/Remove Programs applet. The .inf just adds the registry stuff to add the IE option and tell it where to find the script. The HTML file is the actual script that copies the selected text and opens a new window at that URL...
Just thought other users here might also find this handy...
