Title: upgrading from 5.5

i want to  upgrade to 5.6 ,i cannot have the server offline for long ,is there anything i need to be aware of or experiences from other users so i can make the upgrade as smooth as possible .the only extras the server runs is portforwarding  and sysmon .i want to install snort,acid and  awstats but gather these would be better to install once  i perform the upgrade

With Snort/Acid/Guardian, be sure you install the appropriate Guardian module.  The 5.5 version won't work on 5.6.

I'm not sure about the portforwarding.  I would think the portforwarding would need to use "iptables".  Looks like you'll have to install the 3 rpm's located here:

http://myezserver.com/downloads/mitel/contrib/portforwarding/

I would think that installing "rpm -Uvh FILENAME" would upgrade the "dmc-mitel-portforwarding" rpm and install the other 2.

I'm not using sysmon or awstats on 5.6, so I'm not sure.  I would think the upgrade would be ok with these, though.
