Title: powstatd DISABLED on startup?

We are running sme 5.5 all updates
Used the contributed howto and rpms from doc..
Cyberpower 625AVR UPS

Got everything working - but it always starts up "DISABLED".
We can manually start it  from the command line and it works.

First I looked at permissions and they look ok .  Also searched here but found no problems like this.

Also, is there away to have it email us when it starts to shut down?

Dear Reynolds

Try this
/sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop powstatd status enabled
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event console-save
