I'm using it on my 5.5 server and works fine for me.
Yet, i have 2 questions:
1) did you finally build any ssl version?
2) are you going to update your scripts?

thanks a lot Jon.

Title: How to bind 5222 on external interface
Post by: David Guest on June 14, 2003, 12:38:43 PM
I have installed the jabber server on 5.6U4. It works fine on the LAN but remote connections (see below) time out.

It does not look like a DNS problem since I can logon on to port 80.

It seems to behave like port 139 (internal, not external access) which is not what I want.

Any advice gratefully received.

David
