Post by: Jose Santos on June 07, 2000, 08:35:03 AM
Is there anyway that I could configure IP chains to do a port forwarding to a web server inside my local network.
So far the only machine connected to the internet y my e-smith server and I want it to forward connections to a certain port inside the intranet.

Please help

There is a small packet forwarding program called "redir"  It can listen on a set port and forward all the packets to the specified IP and port of another machine.  It can also do transparent proxing so that the originating computers IP shows up at your internal machine instead of the forwarding machine.

There is an RPM version for installation.
