Title: Problems with Gallery Inside PostNuke
Post by: paul on March 07, 2003, 07:42:10 PM
I am running SME 5.6, Postnuke 0.7.2.3 and Gallery 1.3.3 installed on the primary ibay.

I have set the gallery up following Dan Brown's how to except that I have the Gallery as a postnuke module and am trying to put the actual albums/pictures in a seperate ibay.

Everything work okay except when I try to view the pictures all I get is a red X, even though the relevant thumbnails etc have been created in the ibay.

What have I done wrong?? I have tried all the fixes I have seen on the forum thus far but to no avail, any new ideas from anyone greatly appreciated as I need to get this up and running ASAP

Paul

Hi Paul

U need the Imagemagick install

I have made a Danish howto:
http://www.linuxplanet.dk/article/articleview/241/1/3/

In short...download all the .rpm's and install as root with:
rpm -Uvh --nodeps *.rpm

Then make a symlink:

ln -s /usr/lib/libpng.so.3 /usr/lib/libpng.so.2

Voila...from now on u can use most CMS systems out there ;)

And here is another version. I haven't tried either myself.

Psst, Herlock, why does one have to register in order to comment on your stories? At least the Forum is open. (I'm Jens). ;)

Cheers,
Jens
