After initially installing e-smith with a boot disk (made from the boot.img file on the CD-ROM) and CD-ROM (made from the .iso I downloaded) the system reboots. Then, when e-smith boots, all I get is an endless stream of 01 01 01 01 01 .... printed on the screen. Any one have any idea what causes this? Solutions? Suggestions?
Thanks!

I dont know what the problem is, but Im sure its a generic Linux related problem, rather than purely E-Smith. Try going to www.redhat.com, or any of the Linux sites, and check the support areas. As a last resort, do a search on the web.
Sorry I cant help more, but Ive never experienced this problem myself, so Ive never had to fix it!

Sounds like a problem with 'lilo'.
'lilo' is the Linux Loader. It stores information on the location of the boot files in the Master Boot Record (MBR). If 'lilo' wasn't run after you did the install you can get the problem you discribe.
Boot Linux from your emergency restoration disk, mount the harddrive and run lilo. ( Just type lilo at the prompt. )
