Title: FTP mods
Post by: Malcolm on March 17, 2003, 04:37:10 AM
Can anyone tell me how to add a back button to a FTP site on SME.
I have seen back buttons on other FTP sites (listed just above the list of files) that return you to the index.html of the site.

This is the function that I need to help navagate between a html site and a ftp site on the same sever.

If I edit the view of the FTP site it will only save to html, the format for the FTP page must be someware?

Do you absolutely require to run a ftp server? There are a couple of really neat html indexers out there for SME servers that many users implement to share files in their contribs areas.

This includes the necessary navigation tools to allow you to jump up / down the web pages

Take a look here for an example of one in operation.

Very nice.
I had no idea. Where can I get this, and how is it set up.
A link to a site is OK, PLease Email it to me as I dont get online that often.
