Hello.
I am using e-smith version 5.x (dialup) and need to open up two UDP and one TCP "ports". I don't know exactly how to do this. I am trying to configure my server so it will allow me to use EchoLink, a Ham Radio program which lets me connect to remote Ham repeaters and other stations via the Internet.
Here is an excerpt from their help file:
" Configure the router to direct ports 5198 and 5199 to any computer which makes outbound requests over UDP ports 5198 or 5199, or TCP port 5200. "
Can one of you fine, helpful folks give me exact details on how to do this?
Thanks!

Install the port forwarding contrib, and use the Server Manager panel to forward those ports to the PC you want to connect from.

Thanks for your reply, but where can I find that software on the MITEL system? I found a couple using Google, but the contrib subdirectory under Darrell May is empty, and the link to his download area on myezserver.com is dead.

Try this link: http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/dmay/mitel/contrib/portforwarding/
Hope this helps,
