Title: ftp connection --> e-bay
Post by: Paul Van Lint on April 04, 2003, 12:01:13 PM
I want (+/- 10) friends of mine to connect, by ftp://username@IP-address, to my e-bay.

Only one using XP is succeeding. All the others don't mannage.

For me it should work for all, when it does for one.

What am I doing wrong?

Can you explain me in some words what an ftp client "wsftp" is, or what should be done to install it.

Looking for a solution for both Linux and Windows.

WS_FTP is a File transfer client.
You can download it @ www.ipswitch.com
Also there is much difference between FTP clients.
In WS_FTP use Passive mode in the Advanced Tab and in the Startup Tab - Remote Site use /ibays/ibayname
Oh yes, It's an Information Bay so Ibay or I-bay and not e-bay.
