Title: Hosting Multiple Domains
Post by: Rod Tinberg on April 18, 2003, 02:40:11 AM
This is probably a newbie question, but I've not been able to find an answer by searching.

I've set up an ibay to be used for a second domain that I want to host.  I then added the virtual domain, and pointed it to the ibay.  I created a simple web page as a test, which I named index.html and ftp'd it into the html directory for the ibay.  When I go to www.domainname.com from my web browser I get a message "This information bay has not yet been customized".  However, if I enter www.domainname.com/index.html it works fine.  What am I missing?

Ummm, delete the index.htm (notice no l in htm) that is put there by default is what you're looking for (I think).

Is it cached? Try Ctrl-F5 in your browser to refresh the cache. Otherwise, it sounds like you've done what is needed unless you named the test file index.htm instead of index.html?

When I first put the file there it was named index.htm.  I later changed it to index.html.  It was a cache issue.  Thanks Des!
