In IE (or your browser) try deleting all your Temporary Internet Files and perhaps even your History.

Are you sure you pressed the Ctrl key and the F5 key at the same time ?

I had problems with this recently and found flushing the squid cache did not fix. Finally discovered that flushing IE6 cache while your browser is on the url you are trying to refresh deletes all the files in the cache EXCEPT the one currently on view. So move to a nonsignificant url before flushing.

Alternatively close your browser and (with the browser still closed) then delete all the Temporary Internet Files and History ie Control Panel/Internet Options
