Title: WinXP no ping
Post by: Jeremy McNicoll on April 27, 2003, 12:04:24 PM
I have a winXP machine (workstation) that I can't ping or do traceroutes to anywhere outside the local network.  But this machine can check its email, surf etc.. The registry patches have been applied in the server-resources page and still no luck.  Any hints?  Nothing obvious shows up in the logs.  This is weird, my brain is still sore from all these exams.

Am I missing something somewhere?  Thanks

Okay I have to answer my own question.  All  I was restart the masq services and nothing on the winXP machine.  Sigh.  Unfortunely I wished it was a windows problem.

This worked:
$> /etc/rc.d/init.d/masq restart
