Title: Ftp grief
Post by: Mac on July 01, 2000, 03:52:40 AM
I have setup an ibay and it works fine.

How do I allow the master of the website(via remote access) of that ibay to ftp files up and down to the ibay/html directory?

It seems only the admin can get in.  And only if the remote access in set to public.

The manual is brief on this subject.

Can some one help

I am using 3.1b I think

I sure wish e-smith would post a notice on this one. It would save a lot of people grief.

A file called /etc/pam.d/ftp is missing from the 3.1 release. They have an update on their ftp site. It is also in the 4.0 release that is available on the ftp site.

I'm sure my 3.1 server has the ftp file, but it still wont let me ftp in as a user.
