Post by: Matthew on May 12, 2003, 12:08:01 PM
Hi, i was wondering if anybody can help me with this.
I want to know if it is possible for only certain users on a Mitel network server to access the internet.
for example if there are 5 people and only 3 are allowed internet, how do i set it up that only the 3 can access the internet.
If it is possible, please help.

Try contribs.org or the two download links below

http://www.moonlightcomputers.homelinux.com/contribs/proxy-auth/
http://www.moonlightcomputers.homelinux.com/contribs/proxypass/

you would be better trying contribs.org first as there may be a more uptodate version out there.

There is a very easy to use proxy pass rpm available from

Hi Cyrus,
Do you know the full name of the proxy pass rpm? I couldn't find it on http://www.e-smith.dyndns.org/  and a search on Google didn't find any thing for sme or e-smith.
Thanks in advance,
Del
