Hello,
I will in the coming weeks setting up my own web- and mailserver. For this i'm considering SME.
I would be running a backup mailserver at a ISP, so that my domains MX-record would be setup so that my primare mailserver is my SMEserver at home and the secondare mailserver is the ISP, so if my own SME not is availible mails are delivered to the ISP.
Is this possible to get SMEserveren to automatic collect any mails delivered to the ISP mailserver and place them in the right mailboxes on the SME???
Thanks

If you are using SMTP to receive mails, you don't have to do anything. The secondary mail server is supposed to try redelivering the mails to the primary server at intervals.

and if not (SMTP), then just use the "email" panel in the server manager to schedule a POP pickup in multidrop mode every half hour or so (that's what I do).
cheers
