First of all you should consider upgrading to version 5.5 or 5.6 with updates.

Version 5.0 is way too old and is not up to date with current security level.

If an update to 5.5 is not possible try 5.1.2 first and then an update to 5.5 or 5.6
Verion 5.0 is not supported anymore.

Since it is happening weekly, it could be an issue with logrotate stopping httpd, attempting to restart it, and it failing.  Have you made any recent modifications?
