Title: Compiling nic driver
Post by: GM on May 16, 2003, 01:10:56 PM
Hi have just got myself a new ASUS box with an onboard Broadcom 4401 nic interface.  The drivers are supplied as source.  I will obviously have to compile this on my SME v5.6 system.  To do this I need to install gcc, etc, etc...  I've had a look at the FAQ and it states that SME v5.6 is based on Redhat 7.3 but the FAQ for compiling on SME states I need the rpms from RH v7.1.  Can someone clarify this for me please?
Alternatively, clutching at straws, does anyone know where I can download a binary from my nic?

Thanks in advance

You'll want the ones for RH 7.3
