Title: CHMOD rights

First I'd like to thank all those you have been helping me and other nOObs out...

I've overcome many of my problems and  am quite happy with the was my SME server is running.

However, neither me (logged is as admin) nor any of my users can CHMOD any files. We always get error 550: Permission denied.

Any ideas???

try to login as user root.
 the user admin should have the same rights as root.
but test it.

root user in un-able to login through ftp remotly...
