Title: 5.6 install
Post by: Matthew on May 26, 2003, 09:26:31 PM
Hi
Im having a bit of trouble installing ver5.6
I downloaded it, put it on cd
it boots fine and starts the install, the first time i tried installing it reached almost the end and came up with an error, i didnt see the error as the machine automatically rebooted.
now when i try installing (fresh) in doesnt even get to a quarterof the installation.
is there a way i can verify that the cd is 100% and that i have copied the whole iso to disc?

Hi Matthew ,

A bit more specific info re machine specs that you're trying to install on ?

Did you do a checksum of the iso image ?

Also check out the post regards MD5 Checksum :
