Title: Email user name with dots

Hi,

I'd like to have users email accounts such as name.surname@mycompany.com, but it seems I can't, dur to account name restrictions. Would it be possible through using aliases ? Also, is there some central documentation about the contributions ? And finally, when is version 4.0 planned ?

You have to create a normal account, for example an account called "name"
So, go to /var/qmail/alias and create an alias typing following command:
#echo name > .qmail-name:surname

so mails directed to name.surname@mycompany are delivered to "name" account.

That may take care of your problems.
