Hi *,
on http://internet-sicherheit.net/isdn4es-howto.html you can now find a
documentation on how to use passive ISDN cards with e-smith.
You can use any ISDN card that is supported by isdn4linux (preferably
a PCI-model). The documentation shows how to integrate seamlessly into
the modem-configuration giving you all the comfort of the configuration
wizard that is new in e-smith 4. So you can still use the dialogs for
your ISP's phone number, dial-in policies etc. while enjoying the higher
speed (than a modem) resp. the lower price (than an external TA).
Any comments greatly appreciated.
Regards, K. Mueller.
