Hi,
I'm a real newbie at this, so you'll have to forgive me. I want to host my own website but don't really know how to go about it. I have a spare PC ready and waiting for SME Server, and a Broadband connection on its way. I already have my domain name. What do I do next though? How do all the computers on the 'net figure out that www.mydomain.com is hosted on my computer? Someone said something about Dynamic DNS. I don't have a clue what this is... Any help would be FANTASTIC!

Hi,
You need to get your domain name point at your broadband IP.
Check with your ISP what IP you've got and next connect with your domain.
This can be done with both dynamic and static IP's.
Try to check this page out:
