I'm running SME Server as a file repository, using my drives as a raid pair.
How do I backup the drives onto CD? My network consists of a Windows machine with a CD reader/writer and a Linux machine with a CD reader.
Obviously I can swop the reader/writer and reader around with no problems. How do I backup my drives on the Linux machine? I've tried from Windows but Nero doesn't like network drives and SME doesn't seem too keen on CD drives anyway.

Hi,
There is this site http://www.mcnicoll.ca but at the moment still under construction, I have the rpm that add's a backup panel to webinterface and allows you to back up via CD-Writer, I have never used it myself but have installed the package and had a quick look and it looks easy to use.
Have a search around I'm sure this has been posted before, if not i dont mind emailing you the rpm myself but beware it might not be the most up2date.
Kind Regards.

I'm afraid http://www.mcnicoll.ca/e-smith/cdBackup/ doesn't work for me
Nor does http://wiki.contribs.org/mod.php?mod=showinmain&page=http://wiki.contribs.org/contribs
In fact, I can't get anything to work on contribs.org. All the links I follow are dead ends. All come up with error 404.
I've tried in Internet Explorer and in Mozilla
