Error: the account "jjo" can't be created because there is already a group-deleted account of that name.

Known bug. The deletion of the group failed, probably because an ldap issue. You can fix this on the command-line.

/sbin/e-smith/db accounts delete jjo

If you check /var/log/messages, you should be able to figure out what failed.
