What an afternoon!
I have been trying to install 5.5 and 5.6 on a brand new IBM x220 eServer which has 2 36.4Gb SCSI HDD.
5.6 stops at "Running anaconda", and goes no further. Suspecting the RedHat "aic7xxx" driver, I tried 5.5, which gets to "Post install configuration ...." before it hangs.
Watching the install sees it hang at "Mount of USB succeeded" which is where the thing locks solid.
Any suggestions very gratefully accepted.

Further, the IBM BIOS in this Server has no way of disabling USB which I should have pointed out earlier.
Is there anything I can load to get around this? RedHat 7.2 loads perfectly, but 5.5 doesn't .....
