Title: Internet Access Limiting?
Post by: byte on June 20, 2003, 03:21:13 PM
Hi,

I know there is a bandwidth limiting rpm over at dungog.net, but what I want to do is setup internet access like...

If one user log's in on local machine they will get all bandwidth, then if 2 users log on the it will split the bandwidth to something like 25K each and 3 users so on.

We are using 5.6 with ADSL, anyone done this before?

Thanks in advance

That's what happens (approximately) already. Do you really want to limit your bandwidth use to 1/4 if only one of four users is actively downloading?
