It sounds like your cdrom drive somehow have problems reading the sme cdrom. If u happend to have a spare, i would go with that aproach.

Yesterday I have buy another cdrom drive just to resolve this problem but i don't obtain nothing.
The Ethernet adapter may be the problem?

If you 'burned' the CDROM disk from an ISO that you downloeded from the Internet then the settings in your burning software may be to blame.
A lot of the cheaper blank media is not certified for high speed burning and will often produce CD's that will not boot realiably or boot at all.
Burn another copy of the CD but use a speed of NO MORE than 24x; use good quality media with a high speed rating. All the probs I have ever had in this area have been resolved using this practice.

Hi,
all my problems are causes by the Red Hat version 9 in Italian.
On my notebook I have installed the 7.3 version and the installation don't crash.
I have try to remove the V.9 form my PC and I have installed the 7.3.
The installation now is OK!
Thanks to all fo the support.
