Title: SME 6.0 stable release date ?
Post by: DigyDK on July 07, 2003, 12:26:54 PM
Hi,
i would like to install in a week or two a new SME server with only basics functions : file sharing, print sharing, simple apache web server. Does someone now when the SME 6.0 stable release will be launched ?

Is it better to install à 5.6 (an upgrade) or can i install 6.0beta2 for my basics uses ?

Guy

Mitel never give us a release date for the final stable versions. Stops us all whinging if they missed the date :-) For what you are asking to do I'd suggest that 5.6 is more than capable of handling it. Never run a beta product if its for a production environment.
