Title: browsing domains from LAN?
Post by: Kim Knudsen on July 08, 2003, 02:33:39 AM
Hi,

How do I setup e-smith (5.6u4) to make it possible for me to surf to my hosted sites (both primary and v-domains) from my LAN?

Whenever I try now, I'm getting to my routers interface page - but when I browse from outside the LAN (I've tried via megaproxy) it works fine. I really need this to work as several of my sites needs to be configured dfrom the site itself.

nimmer

sounds like you have 2 different hostmasks. one for the server and one for the router.. check your config on the box and router. which one is doing the dns the server or the router? let the server do all dns/dhcp functions
