Title: PostgreSQL

Has anyone got a guide to installing PostgreSQL on SME 5.6? I've searched the forums (all dates) and as many of the contrib sites that I can remember and cant find anything helpful.

Basically I downloaded the 10 PostgreSQL rpms from Star-Supports website. Copied them onto the server and issued a rpm -Uvh *.rpm

This only gets me the following errors

libreadline.so.4.1   is needed by postgresql-devel-7.2.3-1sme5x
        libssl.so.1   is needed by postgresql-devel-7.2.3-1sme5x
        libcrypto.so.1   is needed by postgresql-libs-7.2.3-1sme5x
        libssl.so.1   is needed by postgresql-libs-7.2.3-1sme5x
        libcrypto.so.1   is needed by postgresql-perl-7.2.3-1sme5x
        libssl.so.1   is needed by postgresql-perl-7.2.3-1sme5x
        libcrypto.so.1   is needed by postgresql-server-7.2.3-1sme5x
        libreadline.so.4.1   is needed by postgresql-server-7.2.3-1sme5x
        libssl.so.1   is needed by postgresql-server-7.2.3-1sme5x
[root@portal postgres]# error: failed dependencies:

Trying to get this installed so I can have a go at this OpenGroupware project thats started.

my problem was the same. I found all needed in rpmfind.net ...
