Hello all,
It appears that after intially setting roaming profile to 'yes' (on) in server manager, that now when I set roaming to 'no' (off) in server manager - the roaming profiles are still being used!? Have I missed something or is there something else that needs to be done to "un-do" roaming profiles in my domain.
Using Windows 2000 Professional (Sp3/Sp4) clients connected to a single SME box running SME 5.5 w/Update 6.
Thanks in advance for thoughts/ideas.
Regards,
Drew

It's a long time known bug with 5.5 that roaming profiles cannot be disabled.

I looked for it in the bugs section but couldn't find it now, it may have been removed.

Terry,
Thanks for the pointers - I did try searching but somehow missed the posts you found.
So does Peter Schuberts fix work? http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=15867.msg61253#msg61253
I wonder why it has been removed from the bugs section if this still doesn't work in 5.5 Update 6 or the latest 5.6 version. Mitel?
Regards,
Drew

Known to some, perhaps, but never reported to smebugs@mitel.com until Henrik reported it this morning.

Very unlikely. It's much more likely that it was never there.
