Has anyone looked at this copy of mitel server
found at
http://youresale.com/

Very interesting.
I wonder if they have bought a license from Mitel? Did not notice anything about blade support either.
Sounds just like the developer edition with a new face.

It is the developer version 5.5 with a new face.
At one point I downloaded it an installed it.

Funny thing is that you can get in using ssh as root using the password yesplease and do whatever you want. Can't see them keeping that demo up and running for long.

Funny that they woke up _only_ after Andy's post...
Well lets say that we all have to learn....
-
Have they woken up as I can still get in? They haven't spotted that their server has been rebooted.

Better drop them a warning e-mail Andy. Better not play with the server.
Be "gentleman" :-)

Thinking about it more and more I have the following thoughts;
- Where is the source code of this 'distro' ? (GPL right ;-) )
- How come the Mitel copyright notices are removed ?
- How come the GPL license in general is removed ?
It _is_ copyrighted product. Being free does not mean "I can do whatever I want".
I think becoming a official Mitel partner has way much advantages then just trying to 'hijack' a licenced distro.
Anybody have some thoughts on this?
Thanks,
guestHH
