Title: Public user accounts accessible thru HTTP
Post by: Keith on August 25, 2003, 03:21:43 AM
Hi,

Is there any way to set a specific account's (one or more) /home directory to be accessible through HTTP? I.E. http://myurl.dyndns.org/users/mike. And it would display the index.html that user ('mike') had uploaded through FTP.

Thanks so much, I've been wondering about this for a long time.

Keith

I think what you're looking for is a user's public webspace, there has been talk of it before, check out http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=7326.msg26758#msg26758
Do a search on "public_html", there were other hits too...
