My server seems to hang at random intervals. I have an ABIT BE6 motherboard with a Pentium II 400MHz precessor and 128MB SDRAM. The BIOS is updated to the latest version.
I don't know how to start debugging, the screen is blank when it hangs. The system doesn't boot after a reset. I have to power down the system first.
Anyone with ideas?
Thanx a lot.

Peter,
Sounds more like a hardware problem. I have seen this before with a bad card or motherboard. I can onlu suggest substitution of components (nic, vid, mem, even cpu if you have one. You can also get a program like doc memory. It will provide burn in for your memory, and it helps to eleminate the os as a problem. You can find it at http://www.simmtester.com/page/products/doc/docinfo.asp
Good luck
Bob
