Title: I.P via DHCP on a cable Modem

Help, When I set my Mitel SME 5.5 software to connect via DHCP sending MAC address as uthentication I get assigned a 192.168.57.54 I.P but funny enough I can still surf the web. How do I get  a proper I.P address so I an start using my server properly for people to connecto to ?

Sounds like your ISP does not issue public IP addresses.  Some ISP's do this to keep people from running public servers and such.

Looks like you need to ask for a static public IP address.  Mine costs me $15 a month.
